I’ve found myself looking forward to reading them each time I get a notification in my email and it’s been a source of comfort and inspiration. I haven’t written anything in years. I wanted to hang with you that day. I heard the news and knew it wasn't a day to be messed with. I still feel for you — but I'm happy you had/have them in your life.
I’m the sort of person who only listens to 5 records at any given time, changing one out and putting another in to the fray every now and then. I don’t think there’s been a time in the last 15 years where one of Gen’s projects wasn’t in the mix.
Gen was (and is) such a beautiful spirit, an authentic innovator. My first tattoo was a psychic cross shortly after gen's passing. Hearing CC's Godstar at Cold Waves was so special.
Regarding the weekend (meant to write on your last post), Saturday was my youngest child's birthday. He has an immune disorder & it was enough to celebrate that he was well, after a flare-up the previous weekend. Sunday I drove from South Carolina to Tennessee to play a Vexagon show with / for friends. My partner works at a coffee roaster that sells a variety of home coffee-making setups. Happy to help if I can. Any ETA on Heartworm Reader Vol. 2?
Happy Birthday to your son. Hope the show went well.. We are hopeful for April with the Reader though as I'm sure you know it's all so unpredictable these days. All the best..

I wasn't aware of Gen's memoir's. I'll b ordering that when I can afford.
They were such and inspiration and so important and they are greatly missed.
I've stopped weeping.
I awoke from a prophetic dream and today is the first day the storm seems to have passed
I realised who I am and why I am and why I came via the path I did. I wrote a poem about it for another time and place.
