“We turn our failure into celebration in order to keep moving. It’s why we keep showing up. No other language really speaks for us. It’s what we do.”

I’ll be spending the rest of the day picking myself up off the floor from this. Thanks, Wes!

Creating new memories while returning to the past can be very cathartic. I hope all is well.

The show in Maine had the same energy that was in every room at all the earliest AN shows. It was an honor and a privilege to experience that again. I hope that wasn’t a final goodbye, but if it was it was done in a way that only AN could produce. Thank you for the words that kept me going and still do.

This post made me cry and I can't stop. I'm just so happy that after all you've been through this is where you have come to. You deserve all the love.

There's a weird synchronicity here, since DM show in Amsterdam up until last week I went to multiple shows of my favorite artists every week and it was a vortex of joy, elation, catharsis and sleep deprivation. Completely unreal and the fact it all was possible solely thanks to you makes it even more unreal.

I can't even imagine how these AN shows felt like when even through the videos and pics you can feel the energy was FUCKING INSANE. You are a force of nature. I just hope I can experience AN live firsthand some day. If I get my neck broken there then I'd die happy.

Also, Dedicated... is a hurricane of fire. Everything I didn't known I needed right now as it always is with your music. One of the reasons I love you so much.

Fate was very cruel to me this weekend. I didn’t realize what days the shows were and I had to go to a retirement party in Boston for my father and miss the AN show. Not my ideal scenario. I know there won’t be more AN shows any time soon or ever but thankful I got to see them when I did.

I'm thankful that you've preserved a fondness for these songs steeped in so much pain. It's often easier to bury our evidence of darker times. It might feel like those songs were penned by a totally different person but it's comforting to know the "different person" still holds value to you.

I saw that CC is opening for The Cult on tour this fall. Awesome news. I hope that beautiful itch to get back on the road distracts you again in the not-too-distant future.

It is nice having things to look forward to. I've been into the Cult since 1987 so very excited. Plus I really love playing with bands that have great singers.. there aren't many left. Ian is one.

Bit of a mindfuck witnessing an AN gig so close to home after exiting the group 23 years ago. Happy to see the energy is still there. Maybe one day we’ll catch up over a round of THPS.

I had a great weekend in the blistering Manchester sun with our mutual friends Mark, and Rob who was in the UK for a few days. Life is always so much better for seeing them both. I’m going to see Arab Strap on Thursday. I can’t wait.

Ooo I got to see Arab Strap in this small ass bar in a town near me in the US. It was such a great show. I’ll never understand how they ended up there but I’m glad they did. I hope the show is great!
