It's really too bad Mark's Christmas stuff isn't on Spotify. For anyone not familiar with it, look up Dark Mark Does Christmas on YouTube, and prepare to cry into your whiskey.
Long had a lengthy too-long list of “holiday” music, last year finally parsed Yuletide away from Winter (so much is stolen away into a holiday stolen away and could this surprise anyone?) and this month finally parsing songs that merely mention Christmas and shake a sleigh bell from those that mention snow etc. Hemispheric, East Coast/West Coast rivals it seems, surprised to find most songs are warmer literally and might as well have all been written by someone living their life in black in California...and absolutely no digitally available version of White Christmas allows it to be heard in the original context of the film, miserably sung by a soldier as bombs are heard bursting in the distance...and could this surprise anyone etc.
