I sold a Charles Manson 7” to Ian Astbury. Sounds like the title of a poem, but that sentence is it’s own story.

I love the Kiss mentions mostly because my older brother was a Kiss fanatic and growing up on early 80s I was dragged to many a Kiss Concert, even the Hot in the Shade tour when it came through Houston. Which even though was a low point for the band, they had a giant Sphinx with sunglasses on as a stage prop. Which was cool enough for me at the time. Also,, I remember the look I got when my brother took me to a record signing for Frehleys Comet and he wanted me to have them sign a copy of Creatures of the Night. Ace laughed and his band signed all across Gene and Paul's faces. Eric Carr remained intact.

Anyway I really hope American Nightmare comes through Texas some point. Besides CC, I saw you with Some Girls and Converge here. So AN remains a bucket list band for me. Much love Wes.

Wes the Piratical Promoter Slayer haha.

If Luke does a job and notices that the person is into hardcore he hooks them up. The little things in life.

Why feel guilty for wishing bad things upon awful people? They deserve it.

You are so kind for not slaying those promoters publicly in your initial cancelation statement.

Thank you for already mailing out my Confetti 7"!🩷

Love your writing so much.

For some reason I always feel bad admitting that Lick it Up is my favorite Kiss song, maybe because it was during the no makeup phase? Strutter is a close second though.

Love the way you write, be it lyrics, poetry, or just talking.

Looking at the list from three years ago reminds me of the Jim Morrison kick I had about two years ago. Bought so many books on Jim. I was getting into him same time I was diving deep in your poetry and Lanegan's.

Now I can't stop buying people's poetry. All three of you sit on my bookshelf together.

Glad you like the record! Trying to show more gratitude these days and thought you’d appreciate that one. Unfortunately - or maybe not - I have no wife. The seller did; cool punk couple, great people. But I enjoyed reading about an alternate reality where I’m married ha.

Ordered a Jim Goldberg Dave and Cookie Jonesin' photo print for the house, kinda had to. 🖤

I love found poetry. Thanks for sharing that one you spotted.

Has Rainer seen The Paul Linde Halloween Special? That’s a fun one with Kiss and other mid-70s celebrities.

As horrible as these things are and I feel simarler; not sure things are getting better. This gave me small sense of hope, I couldn't find the original clip (it's under a minute) so here is something my friend sent me this morning https://instagram.com/stories/crmcflwrs/3069387111735155167?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY=

No tears are falling over here from this turning into a Kiss Fan Page. I heard the 2024 Netflix movie ends in Cadillac, MI.

I would’ve enjoyed that doc too. Are you taking Rainer to the Bowl show? Was thinking of flying to NY for the 2nd Garden show but I fear it really won’t be the last one.

The Godflesh shirt is amazing. I love going to shows, seeing the band shirts of the band, looking them up, finding new music, connecting the web. Seems like an old way to find new music, do people still do that? Anyways… new Godflesh album soon…

One time I saw that band Cloakroom play in a field in Minneapolis. He was in that shirt. After the set I told him great show. I was in my AN shirt. He just pointed at my shirt and said “Young hearts be free tonight” and walked away.
